Terms of use and refunds
Azima is browser-based software for reports on light, location and surroundings of a Vienna address. This page says what is free, what a report costs, who your contract partner is when you buy, and how refunds and cancellation work.
What Azima is
Azima is browser-based software for the automated analysis of building data, sun position, shading and floor plans. It produces a digital analysis report; it is not a legal, structural or architectural expert opinion and not individual advice. Everything is calculated in your browser from open data of the City of Vienna and other public sources; an address you enter never reaches any server. Vienna Living Map itself, the map with the Living Score and the district pages, is free and stays free.
Prices
All prices include the value added tax of your country, which Paddle calculates at checkout. Business customers with a VAT ID see the net price after entering it.
Buying through Paddle
Paid products are sold by the reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd, London (merchant of record). Paddle is your contract partner for the purchase, issues the invoice, collects the tax and offers the payment methods; Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the purchase (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms). Your contract partner for the use of the software and of the reports under these terms is the provider named in the imprint. The checkout opens only when you click “buy”; before that no Paddle script and no Paddle cookie is loaded.
Refunds and cancellation
You can ask for a refund within 14 days of the purchase, by e-mail to the provider (contact below) or through Paddle (paddle.net). For a single report the right of withdrawal ends once the report has been generated and downloaded at your request, which you confirm before buying (Austrian distance selling act, FAGG, section 18 paragraph 1 item 11); if the report could not be generated, you get your money back. A Premium subscription renews monthly and can be cancelled at any time for the end of the current month in the Paddle customer portal (link in every invoice) or by e-mail; months already paid are not refunded pro rata, except when the fault is the provider’s. Consumer rights that the law grants in your country of residence remain untouched.
Using the reports
A report you have bought is yours: you may keep it, print it, hand it to clients and use it in exposés and listings, also commercially. The source line under every figure stays in place, because the underlying data is licensed CC BY 4.0 by the City of Vienna and others. One rule holds for every report and cannot be switched off: a measured disadvantage is never removed, only explained better. You may not resell the software itself or offer it as your own service; a partner link that starts Azima from your software is welcome.
Availability and liability
Azima is in beta. Functions can change; reports you have paid for stay usable and downloadable. The provider does its best to keep the service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and is liable for intent and gross negligence; for slight negligence only for injury to life, body or health, and otherwise only as far as the law does not allow a limitation. All figures are model results from open data, described with their source and their limits on every page; decisions about buying, renting or building remain yours.
