Stadtwanderweg 1: Kahlenberg
From Nußdorf up through the vineyards to the Kahlenberg. At the top you stand above the city and watch the Danube run in both directions. In autumn the way back passes Heurigen with their branch out.
The trail runs about 11 km and takes roughly 3.5 hours on foot. It starts at Nußdorf (Straßenbahn D, Endstation) in the 19 (Döbling) district — reachable by public transport, like every Stadtwanderweg. The trail can be walked straight from the browser, with nothing to install: the map follows along, and the chapters name the neighbourhood you are crossing.
